AGBU Europe will promote important Armenian initiatives in areas as diverse as academic research, the preservation and promotion of heritage, culture, higher education and Armenian language teaching, European policies, training programs, children and youth activities. AGBU annually touches the lives of some 400,000 Armenians on six continents.

AGBU Europe to mobilize around the 20-year anniversary of the earthquake.

As soon as news of the December 7, 1988 earthquake was learned, the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) around the world and in Armenia acted immediately to provide urgent aid and help to the local population affected by the disaster.
